Our corn and wheat-based vodka is distilled two times through our 7-plate column, then filtered multiple times using activated carbon. This results in a clean and smooth vodka, with slight grain sweetness, that is a perfect addition to many mixed drinks.
Information & History
Barrel 21 uses a mixture of both grain and corn for two reasons:
(1) A founding principle for our distillery is to use Pennsylvania Grains as much as we can. We cross utilize the ingredients of our rye mash as much as we possibly can.
(2) At the same time, we want to create the smoothest, most balanced flavor possible and we recognize the importance of being as eco-friendly as possible as well! That’s where the corn portion of our vodka recipe comes into play.
