We are looking for experienced, professional servers to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable providing polished service in a more upscale dining setting.
At Barrel 21, our servers play an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn about our handcrafted spirits, cocktails, and menu offerings so they can guide guests with confidence and care. The ideal candidate has prior serving experience, strong communication skills, a professional presence, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Requirements
Previous experience as a server or bartender in upscale/casual environment
Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Excellent guest service and communication skills
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn about food & cocktail preparation and menu items
Ability to work well in a team
Food safety certification is a plus
Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests.
Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders
Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Process payments using POS systems
